Free cooking classes on Saturdays. Starting at 1 pm (usually) and lasting as long as the class takes to accomplish. Normally, you will sample the recipe being made, and you will receive special discounts on items used during the class. See Demos online for more dates & details on free classes.

Free Cooking Class: "Better Under Pressure" by Chef Lavanya Sabin: Chef Sabin will be here to show us all the advantages of the modern pressure cooker. This free class will demonstrate three different pressure cooking techniques that can take an all day recipe and prepare it in less than an hour, while preserving more nutrients for healthier food and sealing in more flavor! Free Cooking Class: "Local Shrimp & Fregula Stew" Chef Eddie Moran from Mercato will be here making his Local Shrimp & Fregula Stew recipe from the cookbook everyone is buzzing about: The Charleston Chef's Table by Holly Herrick. He will also be demonstrating Le Creuset's cast iron cookware, showing why it is a favorite for chef's everywhere. Menu: -Local Shrimp & Fregula Stew
